This is the shack used by Alberto, the gentleman who cares for the turtle eggs and releases new born turtles into the sea.

A fisherman goes out daily and gets oysters from the bay at Carrizalillo. These were from a restaurant at Puerto Angelito.

The initial flight was from Boston, Massachusetts to Houston, Texas. Houston from the air was one large expanse of nothing with a bunch of tall buildings bunched up together.

Wow! Everything seems to incur a fee these days. I traveled on United Airlines. Want an aisle seat? Pay. Want five inches more leg room? Pay! Want food? Pay. What's next? Bathroom use? Fresh air?

In February 2013, I went to Puerto Escondido, Oaxaca, Mexico, to perform the wedding ceremony for my brother-in-law Tó Dias. I kept a journal of the trip. I am now posting the sketches from the journal.
